what causes earthquakes

 

We were learning how to do explanation writing.explanation writing.  Is here you explain something to your reader in  a clear and bright and clever way.We had a choice on what we explain there was a list that we could choose from there was hepes of opshois like the life cycle of a frog or how are caves are formed the list goes on I chose how earthquakes are caused look at my DLO to see how earthquakes a caused. 

I found it easy to get shapes that are good for what I was representing.It was easy to write the information it was easy because from our planning that we did  I had already written a lot of information. Also what was easy about this is how I can use word art to make my writing better. 

In the beginning  I found it hard to  find four steps to complete this DLO so I had to break up one of the steps so I had enuf. It also was hard to do the audio recording because I didn't want to disrupt the other kids and when I did do it the teacher started to talk in a broad way.

I really enjoyed learning what causes earthquakes because it was really interesting and I learnt a lot about what causes earthquakes and how to do explanation writing.   

Next time I need to put in a background so I can make my DLO more interesting I could also do this next time put in more audio so I can help my reader more.

I was a researcher to de a researcher I had to chose the right resource for the information needed.    

    

the day that went wrong

 

we were learning how to do create writing we had to write about inclusions gone wrong.I found  it easy to find a good thing to write about. I found it hard to put what I had in my mind to achly make it into a story. Next time I need to try and find better ways to write.

I was learning how much sunlight does a carrot need. I found it easy to find good carrot fates. I found it hard to get good carrot images. Next time I need to have to read some more information on carrots.

we were learning how to put voiceover on Powtoons. I could not put a voiceover on because my microphone isn't working so I added music instead. I found it easy to find good characters online. I found it hard to check my spelling. Next time I could add more slides to tell you more about the book and what happens.

we were learning how to make a new games out of old games.I found it easy to write the instruction for my game and how to combine netball and stuck in the mud. I found it hard to write the rules for netball.Next time I need to add more rules to my game.

We were learning to write an acrostic poem. I found it fun to come up with things that start with the letter. I found it hard to do my spelling right. Next time I need to work on my spelling, dy using a dictionary.

Maths

 

We were learning some maths and how you simplify and notice some things in maths. I found it easy to simplify when I learnt how to. I found it hard to do hundreds maths problem. Next time I need to slow down with it because I was really fast so I think I need to slow down. 

 

we were learning what makes good instructions like the steps need to be in order. You need time that matches the recipe. We also learned  how we can make good instructions.I found it easy to find good backgrounds for my topic.I found it challenging to find a way to make my writing make sense.Next time I need to work on my spelling.   

 

we were learning how to use powtoons and we had to make a powtoon on the reach values. I did have a heart. I found it easy to form a story. I found it hard to write all the things they were saying and I was going to do a voice over but my chromebook was not letting me. Next time I need to find a better way to write.

I was learning to write a report. We had the choice pick out of a tik tok report or a fortnight report or and animal report I choose a animal report because I would have liked to learn about an animal. I found it easy to find facts. I found it hard to make make my paragraphs long. Next time I will try and find more facts to write about the blue whale.

We were learning to make pop art to make an ordinary animal and turn it in to our own.I found it easy to colour in the animal. I found it hard to make the feathers at the back. Next time I will pick a more hard animal so I can push myself.

We were lenig to make screencastify. I found it easy to find all the right images to make the slides. I found it hard to record my voice. next time I need to manage my decorations.

We are learning to use polyline and curve to make a digital me. I found it easy to trace my face using curve. I found it hard to do my body and my hair because it was hard to make the arms and to make the hair it was hard to get the little strands. I really enjoyed because it was fun to pick all the colors.Next time I need to trace more srat.    

Autumn

We were learning about Autumn and what it would be like to be a tree. I found it easy to come up with the ideas. I found it hard to fit all my ideas in the box. I really enjoyed it because it was fun to learn about Autumn. Next time I might use a thesaurus help me improve my words. 

The moa

We were learning to create a Digital animal using google Drawings.
I found it hard because it was really  hard to make all the grass and sky.
I found it easy to to make the moa because there was not so many parts to connect.
I really enjoyed it because it was fun finding an animal to do.
Next time I need to do it a little bit faster.
